This course is an updated version of the US Coast Guard Auxiliary's
popular Boating Safely course targeted to the new boat owner/operator.
Basic boating terminology, rules & regulations, right-of-ways,
seamanship and safety considerations are topics covered to make the
boating experience safer and more enjoyable. Course material provided
includes a textbook, an interactive CD-ROM, and access to a supporting
Web site. Graduates may be eligible for discounts on boat insurance. Class size is limited to
15 students. -
